YS Jaganmohan Reddy was allowed by CBI special court to meet his family members for an hour when he appeared before it for remand extension on Wednesday. Jagan met his two adolescent daughters — Harsha and Varsha — and wife YS Bharati. He also reportedly interacted with his company auditor and personal friend and accused no. 2 in all cases V Vijayasai Reddy.
The bonding and parting between the incarcerated father and his daughters, who are seeing him after a long time, must have been really emotional. The daughters were taken along by Bharati to the Gaganvihar complex where the special courts of CBI were situated.
But for the non-availability of video-conference facility in the CBI special court of the first additional judge, Jagan could not have come out to see the outside world on Wednesday. The main CBI court’s judge went on leave for three days, which incidentally provided the much-awaited outing for the Kadapa MP.
Harsha and Varsha are studying in Bangalore.
Jagan reportedly did not greet Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, who is currently on bail, in the assets case. However, he exchanged pleasantries with Mopidevi Venkataramana Rao. He reportedly held confabulations with Chief Commissioner of Land Administration M Samuel. Later, Jagan was shifted back to the prison.
